The Bulgarian Revival – permanent exhibit.
The exhibit, which is laid out on three floors on a total area of 825 sq.m., traces the history of Plovdiv through objects, documents and photographs. The first floor presents the city’s economic development and ethnic diversity during the Ottoman era, while the second and the third floors develop the themes of the Bulgarian people’s struggle for independent church and education, as well as the Bulgarian national liberation movement.
