Offering an alternative club experience, Sofia Beats presents the undervalued and less-known face of electronic music. Sofia Beats mixes international genre classics with the best from the latest musical trends, while simultaneously providing a platform for talented local producers.

BALKANSKY is an audio-visual project combining traditional Bulgarian music with electronic sound and vision. It started as a collaboration between Ivo Christov and Ivan Shopov, with musical legend Theodosii Spassov joining in at a later stage. When presented as a live act, it includes music by Theodosii Spassov, mixed with electronic sounds and beats by Ivan Shopov and interactive visuals from Ivo Christov. Three years after their hugely successful debut album "Kuker", BALKANSKY present their next album "Orenda", featuring guest musicians Yanka Rupkina (vocal), Haig Yazdjiyan (oud, vocal), Ivan Georgiev (kaba bagpipe) and Milen Kirov (piano). Containing 10 tracks, "Orenda" has been released on CD and a limited edition of 180-gram red vinyl by Kuker Music.
