The exhibition is dedicated to the 106th death anniversary of artist and revolutionary Georgi “Zografina” Danchov, who lived in Plovdiv for 27 years. Over the course of two decades, he painted and printed portraits of the Bulgarian revolutionaries Vassil Levski, Hristo Botev, Zahary Stoyanov, Stefan Stambolov, and others. He also painted frescos and icons for churches in Plovdiv and the Plovdiv region, and worked as portrait painter, photographer and lithographer.
