HELIKON BOOKSHOP

The project aims to juxtapose authors who are otherwise unlikely to meet at literary readings or on the pages of literary magazines. This attracts new audiences and allows participants to present their work in front of them. It also demonstrates how writers with radically different poetic philosophies approach common themes and problems. The format of “troubadour duels” creates a sense of spontaneity and engages the audience in supporting their favorite party, while allowing them to keep track of each side’s strengths and virtues.
