12 September - site-specific installation, demonstration
“Therapeutic Effect” (a follow-up of the SURVA project) is an expression of personal concern for the urban environment we will bequeath to the future generations. It raises a red flag about the dangerously low threshold of acceptance of an aesthetically impoverished environment. The project uses a combination of fluorescent paints and UV light that contrast with most electrically lighted signs in advertising today. Its first stage was shown at Contemporary Space in January 2014 in the form of a site-specific exhibition. All works are made from or use doubly-recycled materials that are normally a source of much visual contamination, such as billboard vinyl, stickers, foils, etc.
