For the fifth year in a row, the competition for ideas that change the world, will enable pupils aged 13 to 19, to show creativity and make a difference in their surrounding.
The alternative approach and original performance will again be at the center of the contest, which this year has chosen the message “I Love Hate”. Each participant can record a video, expressing their position using the “hate” as a language of constructive criticism and slang that can carry unexpectedly positive result.
At the Night, the videos with the best suggestions by Bulgarian teenagers for causes that change the environment will be shown. Unseen videos with the rapper Keranov, who created the first video for Reporteen 2016, will be presented. In addition, the organizers will donate 10 shirts... from those that Keranov wears.
The competition, organized by the Center for Educational Initiatives with the exclusive support of the “America for Bulgaria” Foundation, will continue until October, when the most unconventional video will be selected with the help of a professional jury and audience; the winner will receive a prize of 1,000 levs. Positive attitude and transformation of “hate” in words, which highlight the problems of teenagers around the world, will be the key to the videos’ admittance.
