The show includes three short works by Allen Ball, the author of American Beauty, True Blood and Six Feet Under. It offers a comic perspective upon the life of young people in the big city caught between new technology and constant yearning, illusions and mismatches between woman and man. How far have we gone in our efforts to save time? Are we so acustomed to surrogates that the real thing seems unnatural to us? In striving to be constantly active and andlways having fun have we not become numb?
