The winner in the first edition was awarded 41 000 euro and over 500 photographers from dozens of countries presented their work before an audience of over 80 000 orgnisers, artists and users from around the world. The winner is selected in the most fair and trasparent way using an algorithm by the Voubs.com competition hub which takes into account the vote of a prestigious international jury from 9 countries, the audience vote and its interest in each photograph. A special place in the exhibition is dedicated to the first winner of the Photographer of the Year award Gencho Petkov selected with the vote of tens of thousands of users around the world.
