"Encounters in Plovdiv (exhibition) "
/exhibition/
The meetings with the authors Didier Mayoux (Belgium), Erik Tonsberg (Sweden/Spain), Kristel Brusadelli (Belgium), Nevena Derneva and Dimitar Grozdanov (Bulgaria) are a true collision of five individual styles of artists from different generations. This could be said to be a challenge for both those born in the 1940s of the 20th century and those born in the 1980s. The 4-decade difference between the generations may hardly be regarded as an artistic continuity, however, this is a true spiritual heritage passing down from one author to the next. The name, Encounters in Plovdiv, is not a formally given one, it means the provocation each of the artists has taken from this city that brings together the ancient and the modern times.
