Not with the details in their ID card, not with refugee statistics, not described by others, but with their individuality, their dreams and hopes, with all the things that shape their personality. Human Library – “Common Ground. Community. Communication.”

Human library is the place where locals and guests of the city of Plovdiv will have the opportunity to meet and hear the stories of some of the people who participated in the interactive photo exhibition “Identity” as well as other refugees who have left their countries of origin due to war or conflicts. No uncomfortable questions, no uncomfortable topics. The goal is to reduce prejudices and encourage understanding and solidarity with these people.
