Night
The longest NIGHT of Plovdiv returns this September for its fourteenth edition, in three evenings - 13, 14, 15 September, under the moto COMMON GROUND.

The 2019 program will be traditionally divided in thematic sub-programs:

MUSEUMS, GALLERIES, STUDIOS - for the first time, the studios are accentuated as an equal part of the program so that the audience can peer into these specific workspaces of the artists;

CITY AND CULTURE - presents the cultural content of theaters, libraries, community and/or religious centers, cultural houses, cinemas;

CLUB AND MUSIC - presents the alternative club spaces in the city;

PUBLIC SPACES works for the development of the cultural map of Plovdiv by presenting artistic projects in open air public spaces;

LITTLE NIGHT traditionally includes events for the youngest audience.

OPEN ARTS PROGRAM: COMMON GROUND will present a special selection of artistic projects released specially for the audience of the NIGHT in partnership with some of the most active international cultural institutes and embassies in Bulgaria. This year the program is growing and also presents event in the other sub-programs of the NIGHT.

The common ground of the NIGHT is Plovdiv and the common ground of Plovdiv is the NIGHT. That is why we decided to ask all Plovdivians and visitors of the city something very important: WHAT PLOVDIV DO I WANT TO LIVE IN OR VISIT IN 20 YEARS? Everyone can write their wish or dream of the city at the Historical Museum in Plovdiv and at specially designated places. After the NIGHT, all wishes will be donated to the Historical Museum in Plovdiv so that they can remain as a kind of time capsule carrying the atmosphere and hopes of this so important year for Plovdiv.
