The exhibition is inspired by a group performance from April 1990. The performance was entitled The Feet of God and it was presented days before Easter at NDK during a concert by Yildiz Ibrahimova and her jazz band. The old copper receptacles hanging on a network of ropes were used in the musical performance as musical instruments but also part of the stage design and they were used in stylised rituals. A casting of a vintage ski shoe, symbolising a leg or foot was dipped in the copper receptacles filled with red paint and then washed clean. That performance featured Albena Mihaylova and Dimitar Grozdanov and two assistants.
