After Yuliya Krasteva’s homage (which was the topic of last year’s exhibition from the series prepared based on Kamen Starchev and Yovo Panchev’s idea) and her “denunciation“ the already traditional general exhibition within the September NIGHT turns to the topic of dubbing/accusing someone. In the field of the visual, using the means of the image and the gesture, this topic may prove remote for literal interpretation or artistic research.
A selection of works by Alexandra Chausheva, Georgi Donov, Georgi Ruzhev, Dimitar Genchev, Elena Panayotova, Kamen Starchev, Leda Starcheva, Medea Yankova and Stela Vasileva presents the idea of this exhibition, there the topic of dubbing or blaming the person is part of the social media dramaturgy of the modern world. This is also an occasion to reflect on the process of subjective identification and seeking an answer to it.
