This is the author's sixth solo exhibition. In addition, Boris Kovachev has particiapted in numerous collaborative art projects. In the present exhibition, the artist will present completely new and undisplayed to date works of his from the relief, intaglio and lithography printing. Especially for the guests of the festival, there will be a live demonstration of the printing technology lithography – creating art graphics from stone. The visitors of the event will be able to acquire free original postcards, as a memento from the exhibition.
Boris Kovachev is a fine-art photographer and graphic artist born in Plovdiv. To date, he has been the author of five solo exhibitions and a participant in a number of general ones. He was also part of the selections of National Graphics Competition "Georgi Gerasimov" and of “The Art of Miniature” international biennale in Ruse 2015 – events under the auspices of UBA.

The renovated permanent exhibition traces the history of the city under the mound from 15 to 19 century. The rich collection of exhibits, documents and photographs provides the visitors with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the remote past – a time of foreign rule, but also a time of fighting for the Bulgarians’ national identity.
