The Bulgarian Revival Exhibit of the Regional Museum of History explores the history of Plovdiv from the 15th to 19th century. Ground floor rooms present the economic development and ethnic diversity of Plovdiv as part of the Ottoman Empire, while the second and third floors cover the struggle of Bulgarians for independent education, church and state.
