Georgi Bailov – oil paintings – exhibition and meeting with the artist
Georgi Bailov was born in 1976 in the village of Vetren. He graduated in Oil Painting from the Veliko Turnovo University, where he studied with Prof. Nikolai Ruschukliev. He also specialised in Sculpture with Prof. Konstantin Denev. His work has been shown in Bulgaria, as well as in the United States, Finland, Germany, Austria and Italy. He is a member of the Plovdiv Artists’ Association and the International Artists’ Association of Helsinki. He is the recipient of The Young Artist Award (2000) and the annual Award for Oil Painting (2003).
