In Solidarity to Freedom
/documental exibition/
European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk and Polish Institute in Sofia

The exhibition presents the most important events of the contemporary history of Poland in the period 1980-1989. The classic, mostly black-and-white photographs are an artistic record of the road of the changes paved by “Solidarity”. A road interrupted by the introduction of martial law and leading to the agreements on the Round Table, the democratic elections in June 1989 and as a result of that the overthrowing of Communism on Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.
